Since it’s inception in 2011 as Tennessee Interventional Associates, TIIA has grown substantially over the years. In 2014, diagnostic imaging services were added, and the practice grew quickly from 3 physicians to 20 in just 6 months.

TIIA now provides diagnostic and interventional radiology services for Erlanger Health System, Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation, Murphy Medical Center, and Mountain Lakes Medical Center. With imaging center locations all around Chattanooga, TN, Murphy, NC, and Clayton, GA; our affiliate hospitals are convenient and provide outstanding care.

TIIA offers expertise in all radiology subspecialties: musculoskeletal imaging, nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, neuroradiology, pediatric imaging, abdominal imaging, women’s imaging, vascular interventional radiology, and neuro-interventional radiology.

Interventional Radiology

Interventional radiology (IR) is minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that treat a wide array of diseases and conditions. These targeted treatments use various radiology techniques to guide small devices, such as catheters and stents, into blood vessels to deliver medication, treat narrowing, or open closed vessels. Usually, IR procedures require little recovery time because they are far less traumatic. As well as a reduction in recovery time, IR procedures benefit patients because they are less painful, less risky, and usually cost less.
